Can any one tell me how to get a rental property after going BR surely the credit check will show I am bankrupt and no one will entertain the idea of renting to me?
it is always more difficult to rent a property in BR than if you had been able to do so before the bankruptcy order was made.
Often 6 months rental payment in advance and or larger deposits are required. Or if a family member or close friend were prepared to stand as a guarantor would help.
Another alternative is to look in the small ads in the local newspapers. Landlords that do not use letting agents often do not use referencing agencies either.
How do I get to rent somewhere after BR?
