I was contacted a week or so ago, and was given advice about a new procedure for bankruptcy-but I have mislaid the information!!

Are you talking about a DRO? This is an alternative to BR that has only just started and is applied for though the CAB.

You can only apply for a DRO if you have debts of £15k, no assets above £300 and have a disposable income of less than £50.
