I have just opened two cashminder accounts. A joint account with my partner and an account just in my partners name. He is currently self-employeed and wants to remain self- employeed after bankruptcy. I have just been reading the terms and conditions and it says that - This cannot be used as a business account. My partner will be paying cheques in which are made out to his own name and will need his liability insurance etc paid via direct debit. It will be obvious that this is a business account. Does anyone else use cashminder for their business and if so is it questioned by co-op. If it is correct that we cannot use this what other accounts do self-employeed people use for a business account.
