I am in the process of declaring myself bankrupt I have 2 jobs the second provides money to make my autistic sons life a little more bearable> I am worried that the court will look at this as disposable income,if this is the case can I turn round and say ok i'll give it up then as i already work full time or is it worth doing that now. Also are there any guidelines as to what are reasonable amounts to submit as outgoings i'm finding this very difficult.
Thanks

There is a very rough guide of amounts that can be claimed for food, etc. at www.insolvency.gov.uk/DocumentLibrary/Policy/Excel/Household%20Expenditur.xls

The OR will count the additional income from the 2nd job as DI. The OR cannot stop you from giving up the second job and every time your income changes you will need to complete an I&E.

The best idea might be to post your I&E here including the income from both jobs and then we can advise how much DI you would have currently with 2 jobs. You could then work out whether it is worth keeping the 2nd job.
