Hallway123 Many thanks for reply. We had it all arranged for April then a good work offer came hubbys way, then it all went pear shaped. Im worried sick about the lot, the sad think is we couldnt even get credit 8yrs ago as we owed nothing. We keep getting calls from creditors and if I make a payment of £100 here and there they will reduce the debt, so have managed to get phone number changed. Just trying to buy time until the end of June, I think I will die if they come to door. Ta again |

I too changed my phone number 2 years ago when I started iva, so I didn,t get creditors phoning, I was lucky in a way that I managed to get BR sorted before creditors realised iva had failed.Have you phoned court and made appointment yet,cos I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment. It really won't be as you think if I can do it (i'm biggest panicer in the world)anyone can. |

Forgot to say if your going Bankrupt I'm pretty sure if you pay 1 creditor it can be classed as favouring that creditor, so your prob best paying no one. |

Hallway is correct.
You are better off not paying anyone at all. If you do want to make token payments, then you should make them pro rata to all your creditors not just one.
The glimmer gets brighter all the time
