Hi all my husband went br in April only yesterday we recieved a letter from the court saying that one of his creditors has put in a claim for court costs this has alrady been put in the statement of affairs we have informed the courts but as the judge had asked for a hearing it has to ahead has this happened to anyone else and can the judge make us pay? we have spoken to the or who has said that if its in the soa then it should be covered but this still doesn't put my mind to rest

Was the claim for court costs put in before you were declared BR? It seems strange that the court hearing would go ahead if the costs were put in the SOA but if the OR has said you will be covered then there shouldn't be a problem.
