Hello,
can anyone please help. me and my wife have both declared ourselves bankrupt but recenly been discharged. the strain of this period has caused us to seperate. Can anything be done to sell my house so me and my family can have a fresh start? the house is solely in my name and the official reciever is control over it. any help will be a greatly appreciated.

Was the property in negative equity when you went BR? Did you buy back the property for £1 and £211 fees?

the property was in neg equity but the fees were alot more then you mentioned and the time scale to small to pay it all. i could not afford to buy it back.

i was under the impression the fees were about what you mentioned but i got a letter a few weeks later saying the fees had increased. i cant remember the right amount but were alot more. have i been given the wrong info by thr insolvency then?

As far as I am aware, gettingoutofdebt is correct with the figures given.

I've not heard of them going up and that is the rate for buying back the beneficial interest in your house from the OR if you are in negative equity.

Who told you that the fees had gone up?

I've just looked on the Insolvency Service website and the figures don't seem to have changed, so I would be interested to see exactly what you were told.
