If you are considered for it, about 6 to 7 months after your bankruptcy.

As far as I'm aware the earliest the OR would consider ED is 5 months.

My advice to anyone going BR would be to expect to be BR for the full 12 months - ED is a privilege rather than a right and at least you won't be disappointed if you don't get it!

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

hI,
We went BR alst Nov, we filled in IPQO forms for early discharge about 8 weeks ago, I spoke to the OR this week we are still 6-8 weeks away from discharge as they have now wrote to all creditors to ask if they object, they allow 35 days for this process and of course they are very busy at present. Also my OR seems to work very slowly anyway, so if we get discharged August we will ahve been BR for 9 months.

Good luck, I know its stressfull but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Regards Michelle

I was discharged after exactly 6 months, I did not get a I&E form to fill in as I was not working at the time, I presume.

I just was looking at the Insolvency Register one day and I saw that I had been given ED, I received a letter a couple of days later to inform me

We declared Bankruptcy on the 2 Dec 2008 and to our surprise received an early discharge on the 28 May 2009 - just a few days shy of 6 months. We were not asked to complete I&E again, the letter just turned up with the notification of discharge out of the blue ! Happy days

The earliest I've seen on here is 23 weeks.
