My husband & I are both thinking of filing for bankruptcy. His parents have put their house in trust for him & his brother. Will the trust be affected by bankruptcy?

Hi jane.e.m

The simple answer is that it depends on the nature of the trust. You should seek independant legal advice regarding this.

I can only suggest that you do as Suzanne suggests and seek independent legal advice.
