I have been asked to join my son's School PTA,
As an Undischarged BR can I be a member?
The reason I ask , is at the AGM the chairman stated that as a Commitee member we would become Trustees,
I know that you can not be aSchool Govenor, but was not sure about a Trustee?

Advise need Please

All the best

According to the OR's Manual it is only a School Governor or Trustee of a Charity/Pension Scheme that is not allowed when undischarged - http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/TechnicalManual/Ch25-36/Chapter25/part2/part_2.htm

You could always verify this with the OR just to make sure.

Thanks gettingoutofDebt
If that is the case, I can not be a member , because I would be a trustee of a charity,

I can still help out and be an assoiate menber, just means I can not vote on any decisions.
