If I declare bankruptcy, is my personal pension classed as an assett?
I am 55 and unemployed

Hi Frank,

Is your pension or has it been work related, if not is it Inland Revenue approved?

If not then yes it will be classed as an asset in Bankruptcy.

It's very rare to see "non-approved" schemes these days - and it is generally accepted that pensions do not form part of the bankruptcy estate.
