Hi, firstly I would like to say a huge thankyou to gettingoutofdebt & john for all the sound advice . I have been discharged & it feels so good! £142.000 worth of debt off my mind at last.
The problem I have now is trying to regain credit whilst hopefully repairing the damage that has been done ! I am trying to get car finance & wondered if any 1 has any suggestions of a company I can use?? I have been refused by 2 companies & I can't afford to keep applying & getting turned down because of further damage to my credit files ! any suggestions would be great .

Well done beau, discharge is a way off for me but life is definitely better without my creditors chasing after me each month.

Kallis has mentioned the following company as being BR friendly but they have a horrible (34.7%) interest rate - http://www.duncton.com/jsp/index.jsp

I don't know them myself but they're not going to be too fussy with that rate of interest.

Interesting that this interest rate AFTER bankruptcy is not too different from other companies BEFORE br.

They've had positive reviews on the IVA forum and although the interest rate is high they serve a purpose as a lot of people with less than perfect credit ratings wouldn't be able to get finance otherwise.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

There are several posters on the IVA forum who rate them.

As Skippy says - they are willing to take a risk on someone with a less than perfect rating.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
