I am tackling the Unsecured Creditors. When entering credit cards what would I put as the date incurred as obviously aamounts have been added over the years. Generally I have not used the cards in the last 2 years anyway and some have been returned. Also what is best to put in the 'What was debt for' - again it has been various.
In Section 5.2 do I include all the cards including those that I no longer have in my possesion. I really wish these forms could have a bit more 'idiot proof' info, I feel a dummy for asking but just want to get this right.

Put the date incurred as the date you took the card out. Unless the card was taken out for something special (i.e holiday) then just put 'General expenses' as this includes pretty much everything.

In section 5.2 put the cards that are still valid and that the accounts are still open i.e if you had a Tesco CC card but paid it off and closed the account 2 yrs ago then don't bother putting it down but if the account wasn't closed you should put it down even if it has a zero balance.

Don't worry about asking the questions, we have all been in the same situation and it's not easy to think clearly when you have creditors chasing you, need to save for the BR fee, have to organise the court date, etc.

Thank you so much, I am feeling quite sick about all this. All my credit cards are well over 3 years ago and you just dont keep that sort of info. I will do the best I can. I have even contacted a couple to ask them the date I opened the account. As I have to list all these in section 5.2 and there isnt enough space what do I do?

You can put additional information in Section 13 so just write on section 5.2 that you have added the rest of the credit card details in that section.
