Hi, Just a few questions was wondering if anyone can advise me. I am currently in the process of filling out my bankrptcy form and I wanted to put down £300.00 a month for food for me and my daughter is this an acceptable amont it would include my daughters packed lucnhes for school and my leals at work. I also wanted to put down £80.00 a month for clothing for us, this would include my dauhters school uniform and my clothes for work, would this be acceptable. Also how much are you allowed to put down per month for holidays chidrens activities. And if you have a disposbale income of £240.00 a moth how much would the OR take for a month for an IPA
The rate is £281 for one adult/2kids £300 for the two of you including school meals should be ok. School meals are normally £2 per child per day so this would equate to £40 for the month.
I would try for more than £80 if it includes school uniforms so maybe put £100. If the OR queries it you could mention that it includes school and work clothes as well.
Holidays are normally about £50 for 2 people so put this down.
A DI of £240 would still be in the 50% range so you would pay £120 of this. A DI of £250 is in the 60% range so if the OR didn't allow you certain amounts and you ended up with a DI of £250 you would have to pay £150.
As Paul says put up your I&E and we can see if you have missed anything out. If your daughter needs the Internet for school work then you can claim for this as well.
For Paul - I note from other forum that you are in receipt of an armed forces pension (sorry if I am wrong), did the OR take this into account or were you exempt under WRP Act 1999?
