If i receive a nil tax code will my employer know im bankrupt. My company is small and so they'll probably notice the change

It's pretty certain that you will receive a nil tax code until the end of the current financial year.

Your company may clock it, you could always say that you have been having trouble with the tax office and this is why you have the nil tax code until it's sorted out.
