Hi

don't class the payment as income and also don't class the payment as an outgoing.

remember to still list the car details and remember to budget for MOT/Service, fuel, road tax & insurance

Hi Paul
If a friend is willing to continue paying for the HP car, does it mean that the agreement has to be changed into the person's agreeing to continue paying?Any advice please.

HP during br is a very delicate thing.

some hp companies cancel the agreement and automatically collect the car. Others are happy to continue the agreement and others prefer to have the agreement changed to a third person - provided they pass the credit checks.

You will need to speak to the HP company first but obviously don't give them your details until you know what you are doing.
