Hi,
I have been declared bankrupt today. First of all I would like to thank everyone who has helped me on this site over the last few months, you have been a great help and source of knowledge. I don't exactly feel like a weight has been lifted although I am glad that I have finely taken the plunge and the first steps towards putting some stability back into my life.
Secondly, I have a question, will I still be able to contribute towards my work pension during bankruptcy and will this come out of my disposable income or will it form part of my outgoings and not be part of disposable income?

Thanks.

it comes out before your net income is worked out. it is an allowable expense as long it is a reasonable amount, usually 3-6% of income

Congrats on becoming BR gdc and don't worry, once you have had the OR's interview you will feel much more relaxed.
