Dear Sir or Madam, I am about to go bankrupt, but will need to buy a van for work. This van will be cost around £2,500. It will be used for my trade. Do you think that it will be disposed of? Thank you for your time
£2,000 is normally the upper limit for cars/vans when your are bankrupt so see if you can reduce the price a bit just to make sure there aren't any problems. If you are declaring BR shortly after buying the van the OR will want to know where you got the money from to purchase it so be prepared to let them know.
