I pay £45 a month tax from a small pension i had a letter today that i will be getting a NIL TAX code seems sily for such a small amount how long does moon beaver take to set up DD

If you are going to get an NT code for this amount you will need to wait for HMRC to apply the change of code. Moon Beaver should contact you regarding the collection of the money, and then you will need to set up a standing order with your bank.

My friend went Br in early June. It has taken some months for tax dept and Moonbeavers to sort out and inform her re Nil tax and payments

Hi Paul I went BR in April recieved a letter from Tax Office in June to say one will be applied but am still waiting

I didn't get an NT code as I went BR on 29th March and it was too late. The OR was quite slow to implement my normal IPA though. In the end I chased them as I knew I was getting one and as far as I was concerned the sooner I started paying the sooner it would be over!
