Hi
went Br on 7th sept have my telephone interview tom
but dont understand about the nil tax code! does it happen to everyone and what does it mean for you? and what is moon beavers?? sorry if im been thick!!!

You're not being thick! You will most likely get a Nil Tax Code for the remainder of this tax year. This means that your tax will be paid directly to you, and this will then be collected by the OR.

Moon Beaver are the firm of solicitors who deal with the collection of IPA's for the OR. If you get an IPA you will pay the money to Moon Beaver.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

My husband and I went bankrupt at the beginning of June. I do not work but he does and we were not given an IPA he will have a nil tax code put into place and this still has not happened. He hasnt even had a letter from the Inland Revenue. Things must be busy at the OR office. At this rate I will be very suprised if it changes at all.
