i filled in the income form sent to me a week ago as i was told i would be elegable for ED. I have now recieved an IPA for the next 3 years, i wasnt aware i would get one at this stage in the proceedings!! does this mean i wont get ED until this has been paid? |

As far as I am aware, it should make no difference to ED, as the IPA lasts for 3 years whilst BR lasts for 1. I am sure one of the more knowledgable members can answer this for you. |

No, it won't make any difference to ED or not. Even if you don't get ED you will still be discharged after 12 months regardless of whether you have an IPA.

if u dont mind me asking what had changed from when u first went br and did ur first I&E to now .just wondering why u would have now got a ipa ? |

Apparently expenditure is now being tightened up, so it's possible that someone might get an IPA now if they wouldn't have got one before.
This doesn't mean that everyone is suddenly going to get an I & E form, so don't panic!

well that is what puzzled me newbee, i copied it from my last form with no changes except the utilities which had gone up by about a fiver |

As I said they are tightening up on expenditure - I had a pay cut of £80 a month, and my IPA was only reduced by £25 which meant that they had disallowed or reduced some of the things I claimed for.

I was with Croyden OR's office, and my case was passed to the RTLU in Kent.
Don't worry about it, the only reason mine was reassessed it because I had a pay cut and asked for my payments to be reduced.

Tightening expenditure a bit mean . Seems the less you try and earn the better which is maddness
