We are very fortunate to being rented my parents old house, in the view of buying it, in two years time. However I am very worried if i will be able to obtain a mortgage now I have been made bankrupt. My partner has a good credit rating but could not obtain a mortgage just by his own wages.

Many thanks for your help and advice

There are companies out there that do lend to those with bankruptcy/bad credit histories, however you'd be looking at needing a fair size deposit (I was told 30%)
