Just to share some good news...

One of my daughters has had a real battle with a loan shark over the past few months - a nasty piece of work.

Cutting a long story short, we worked out a strategy taking advice from the experts on the Forum (thank you) The matter was in the county court today and my daughter had an application for a statutory demand set aside by the DJ and she was awarded costs for not being at work.

It does pay to challenege some of the evil people in this world.

Regards, Richard

Congratulations to your daughter and for her being brave enough to stand up to these parasites.

That's good news Richard, it's about time the loan sharks were clamped down on.

Thanks for the comments - we do not wish to gloat, but this one deserves all he can get - he is 82 and gets high on making peoples lives a misery.

My daughter and we as her family are alos in touch with Trading Standards and we are hopeful that he will receive some warnings from the OFT - they are about to get a report from a special team in one of the Trading Standards departments in the South West

Regards to all, and the reason for posting is to say "stand up for your rights"

Richard

Well done to your daughter, it must be such a weight off her mind, and yours as well x

Great news

Now that the stat demand has been set aside don't forget to pursue the unenforceable nature of the loan - no APR% etc, otherwise he could represent correctly.
