PRESENTLY I HAVE AN CASH MINDER ACC WITH THE COOP,WHEN I BECOME BANKRUPT(WHICH IS IN THE PROCESS)WILL I HAVE TO CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT AND OPEN UP ANOTHER WITH COOP AFTER THE OR HAS BEEN IN TOUCH ONLY SOME PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THAT CASH MINDER IS OK FOR ME.I AM A BIT WARY ABOUT CHANGING ACCOUNTS AGAIN CANT I KEEP THE CASH MINDER ACCOUNT I ALREADY HAVE.IS THIER ANY EXPERTS WHO CAN ACTUALLY LET ME KNOW IF I CAN OR NOT,THANKS

Hi

I would hope the OR will write to the Co-op and say they have no interest in the account so you can continue to use it. Sure an expert will be along to confirm that.

T best thing you can dois go int your co-op and tell them before the advert goes in the gazettee, it will save you so much time after.

I had the OR fax a letter of freezing the account and permitting it to be used again all in the same letter. Nationwide B/society have a "No Score Flex account" and that gives you no cheque book, debit cards etc but I can bank online and use D/debits once they have let me know officially that they will keep me as a customer.
