Will you be claiming any State Benefits?
If so, put those down as soon as you have been told the amounts by the DWP. I assume that any redundancy payments would have to be declared?

Hi, I won't be claiming any benefits as I suppose it was my fault I lost my job(all the strees and worry of my situation my mind wasn't on my job and therefore my employer decided I should go)

Just explain that you are currently unemployed but looking for work.

Hi Dan,
It might be worth making a claim, you could be entitled to some benfits still, plus housing/council tax benefits - every little will help whilst you look for work.
Good luck

Hi Dan

Phone the benefits agency or go th their website and apply for JSA you might get turned down for it as you lost your job but you should be entitled to Income Support
