Myself and my husband are about to file for bankruptcy in next few days but are very worried about the prospect of loosing our home, we are in negative equity on our property and have a 1yr old son and do not want to have to give up our home is there anything that can be done to avoid us loosing our home?

If the property has negative equity then you can buy the Beneficial Interest (BI) from the OR for £1 + £211 fees. You would need to maintain the mortgage repayments.
