well having checked the register every day for a month, it's now reading discharged (it wasnt yesterday!). Our ED was 15th october :D

Just wondering whats next... do I tell them my new address (was in the process of emailing Or when I found out) or do I not have to? What about more contracted hours at work? Or a lottery win?

------------------------
Br date: 03/03/09
EDREV received and returned at exactly 24 weeks
ED at 32.5 weeks !!
So glad it's over, thank you all for your help!

Congratulations. If you pay an IPA then you need to let the RTLU know if your income changes and you should inform them of your change of address. Any windfalls i.e. lottery wins are yours to keep

No, there is no need to tell them your new address if you don't have an IPA or BRU.

Congratulations Sparkle83 - your posts have always been very welcome please don't disappear now you are discharged! having a positive experience and passing that knowledge on can help many others take the same route and escape the horror of debt.
I like the other experts on here can help clients with problems and queries, but positive comments from people who have gone through the process helps far more

Well done on being debt free!

Congrats Sparkle. Yep, definitely keep in touch. I have been quite quiet on the site recently but do read it regularly. I am amazed that I am over 6 months through my BR now! On an IPA until June 2012 which sounds ages away but in the grand scheme of things it is no time. My last payment in the IPA is actually on my 49th Birthday. My gauld reckon my 50th will be a celebration!!!! Good luck to you.
