I had very good new the other day I received my Discharge from bankruptcy notice from the court.

Does this mean I can now use my bank accounts without the risk of them being blocked. I was lucky enough to still have a full current account with a bank, they were the only ones not to send me a letter saying they were going to close my account. I have tested the account and it still works. Its been 7 months since I went BR and now I'm discharged it should be okay, shouldn't it?

Providing the OR had no interest in the account you should be fine. I had a Nationwide account from years ago and when I asked for a new card they sent me a full debit card much to my surprise!

Thank you both for you replies and congrats on discharge!

When I went to the CCCS for advice, I was given good advise on budgeting and one way of doing it would be for me to use the saving account alongside my bank account to save money for car insurance and things, can I do that? Not that I can save much being disabled and on benefits.

Many Thanks

The bank account should be fine, and it would be a good idea to have a savings account as well.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
