Hi I am considering bankruptcy and have a 5 year old Renault Clio car valued at £2500-£2800 Will i be able to keep this,as i need it to get to and from work? Regards Tony
the "official response" is any vehicle valued over 2K must go
however if you can show need their is a slight bit of leeway.
The Or may decide that as the price is close to the 2K mark it would not release much capital for your creditors so they may not worry
have you checked your valuation with Parkers and even Ebay, as in the current market and by the time your case comes for BR the value of your car may have deteriorated
