Hi caro
not all local papers publish the BR petitions.
normally one night
check the london gazette online once you have been mentioned in that then if local paper are interested it will be a few days later.
western daily press normally publishes, wiltshire times and salisbury journal only publish names of interest
regards Richard |

Not many local papers have the details in, I was told that the costs were too much for the OR with so many going BR.

Hi Caro
hardly any local/regional papers inclde details any more - thankfully - I believe this is to assist the BR...
You will be in the Stubbs Gazzette and London Gazzette i it is likely to be an inch or so column - with neme addresses dob and whether you flied or a creditor filed - it will have the BR no and the court and OR - that is all
If you wanted to see the entry try the London Gazzette around the date - very unlikely therefore that friends in the locality or family will know (incase they are creditors of course) and then they will get a letter
Good luck and try to chill, Richard

Caro
That is frustrating - I am sorry to leanr that - is it beacause it is a big city and there are lost, so it is anewsworthy item?
Yes, it is the public domain, but should not , in my view, be in the local press - maybe the local hacks have nothing better to do
Good luck anyway and if it is there it wil be in a place and under the heading that no body will read and the other thing,,, todays news - tomorrows chip paper
Get to the next stage, say debt free and so what, you are not alone and not to be ashamed of what has happened, Richard
