I owe a total of £17717.84. £9623.00 of that total is owed to friends and family. How does this affect my situtaion, if at all?

Hi pipem and welcome to the forum

It doesn't affect you at all - those debts will rightly stand side by side with debts from your other creditors - so you do need to ensure that they are declared on your bankruptcy application form.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com

Hi pipem,

As Melanie says you will have to include monies owed to friend and family within your Bankruptcy and must not make any arrangement to treat these any different to your other creditors.
