Hi Ray,

If you were declared Bankrupt last month then they can not come to collect anything.
The debt to the Customs and Revenue would form part of the debts in your Bankruptcy.

Have you had your OR interview yet?

You need to contact your trustee and let them know what has happened as well as contact the Revenue and give them the details of your Bankruptcy.

Sorry to hear you're having problems Ray. I would contact the OR as soon as possible as they will be able to advise you.

Tomorrow is a mystery, yesterday is history, today is the present, a gift to make the most of.

That's an invasion of privacy and inexcusible assuming that HMRC were aware of your bankruptcy. The OR has 28 days to advise creditors of their appointment, so this could have been caught up in crossed wires so to speak. Can't believe these people work on Sundays!

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
