Hi All,

We are going BR just before the Christmas break, it was the earliest we could get. We are worried that because the date is still a few weeks away our creditors will try to take action before we become BR. Any advice on what to do if they do take action or does it depend on what sort of action they decide to take?

Like everyone else we have various bills to pay to companies such as Orange, Virgin, British Gas etc. Do we have to inform them of our BR or does the OR do this, Also, what action are hey likely to take?

Any info much appreciated.

If any of your creditors contact you before the bankruptcy hearing, just inform them that you have a bankruptcy hearning on.....at .....County court and provided you give them this information they will miraculously back off!

Well done on taking the steps towards a debt free future, at least it will all be over and done with by the New year and you can look forward to a debt free 2010!

Good luck - if I can give any cyber advice on housing matters, I am happy to do so.

Good luck Mark - this forum is theraputic and very helpful to share experiences, give some advice or take some advice.

I have found it invaluable and I hope that your journey through BR is a steady and trouble free one.

Again, happy to offer a word if necessary, Regards, Richard
