Hi, I am going to be applying for bankruptcy hopefull at the end of January next year. How ever last night my fridge frezzer has decided to give up on me and stop working. I ca niot afford to just go out and but one so was thinking about seeing if I could get one through bright house and pay £5.00 per week. If I do this will the OR let me keep paing bright house the weekly amont so I can keep the fridge freezer, I can ot so with out one

do brighthouse offer a secured loan on the goods you are buying if so you are allowed to pay secured creditors during BR
if not officially they are an unsecured creditor and should be included in your SOA
however if they were not included in your SOA i personally do not see a problem with you paying them until the item is paid for, however the money would likely have to come out of your own DI and not list it as an expense on your I+E

Have you tried getting it repaired, it might work out cheaper.

I don't know that the OR would be pleased if you took out further credit knowing that you are insolvent.

However, Brighthouse is, as far as I am aware, secured on the item. If you don't pay, they come and repossess.

The glimmer gets brighter all the time
