hi
i have a considerable mortgage on a business , the property is owned by myself and my wife and leased to my company, what implications are there if we default on the mortgage but have emigrated say to new zealand or oz, before we are made bankrupt.
and not tell the mortgage provider where we are.

please contact Paul at Reviva (expert to the left)he has an overseas division including NZ and has experienced and resolved many of the issues involved with similar circumstances

I would not recommend trying to hide things from your mortgage company. They can, and will, repossess the property which will leave you having to pay any shortfall.

| If you are trying to avoid the mortgage debt and move to NZ then they will probably track you down. I would highly recommend sorting out your debt issues before you move so you can start a new life without having to worry about the mortgage company catching up to you. |

My reply does not read as clearly as getting out of debt and Kallis, I am not suggesting running away as the debt will eventually catch up with you and the interest will be massive. They will find you, probabaly when you are least prepared.
I was indicating that Paul at Reviva have an international Division and most of the questions you will have he will be able to answer.
I tried too long to duck and dive from Debts / responsibilites and would now encourage any one that will listen to stand up and address their problems
