Please don't worry about if you will receive a BRU/BRO for reckless spending or gambling. Just making the very serious decision and getting professional advice about a bankruptcy has already frazzled your last nerve ending. Just be honest with the Official Receiver and all will be well.

Here is the link to the official site of people who have received them. Their name and deed for you to read. It rhymed(smile)! This should put your fears at bay. I mean, did YOU embezzle YOUR business for £250,000? Or sell a house in the carribbean and give the proceeds to a complete *stranger* with a Cayman Island bank account?
Naw, I didn't think so(smile).

Cheers again shippy, seems i might have been mislead on another forum awhile ago.

I posted and admited i had obtained a loan of 3 grand for a car(with supervisors permission) and had about 1500 outstanding with 2 payday loan companies and by the replies i got i expected to be jailed for 20 years, certaoin memebers were very damning in their responses, not what you need when your at the end of your tether.

I reckon the fact i made it to 30 months in my iva should go in my favour, at least i tried.

I have looked on some other forums, and I have ended up causing myself more worry and stress, so I'm sticking to this one and the sister IVA site! There is too much conflicting information out there, and I think that some people get a kick out of scaring others.
Have a look on www.iva-info-uk.org.uk as well. There are a few of us whose IVAs have failed and are facing BR, and we are all there to support each other, and no-one judges!

My IP has also been great, and has been answering any questions I might have, so it is worth speaking to your IP when you have your meeting.
