I cant find my BR number, have looked over the paperwork we were returned, including the judges notice, and cant find it...

am I being dumb?

BR number is *** of 2009.
Should be on rubber stamped letter from Judge.

And No not dumb, I had to ask myself!

I can't find my bankruptcy number either. The only number I have is a handwritten number on the top of the petition documents. It doesn't mention "of 2009" though. All sounds a bit strange to me. As I didn't go through the judge, it was only stamped by the clerk who looked through my forms and stamped it with the court stamp.

Any advice anyone?

just hang fire until you get a letter from the OR - it will clearly stat the court name and ref no of 2009
