The COOP bank account is getting great reviews from folks on the iva.co.uk forum.
We also recommend this to all of our clients and they have been very pleased with the customer service and support.
take care

Yes certian banks will allow you a basic banking facility with a cash card and direct debit facilities.
I have always found Nationwide and Abbey National to be very helpful with my clients, however Paul of Reviva added in an earlier link:
" I know that the COOP do offer bank accounts to" people in bankruptcy. The account is called a CASHMINDER account, it offers direct debit / standing orders / online banking and gives you a Visa Electron card. The number you need is 0845 602 7057
