im in court monday 21st as its gettin closer panick is setting in am sure ill be fine but scary all the same .i have no other way out but br so i will just have to be brave and take it on the chin .will post monday let you know how it went xx |

Dont worry about it, it isnt half as bad as you might think.
The people are very nice, the two before me didnt have to see the judge, but he did ask to see me, nice guy, sitting at a normal office desk.
He just wanted to make sure I knew the consequences of BR and the fact that I could not be a company director any longer whilst BR, thats all.
You'll be fine.

Yes I will post on Friday afternoon.
I rang the court yesterday morning and was able to speak to the lady who will be there on Friday morning. She was so reassuring - told me not to worry - they would go through the forms (I only need to take in the original BR forms - they photocopy the forms there - although this might not be the case in every court)
She asked about my level of debt and wether I had had advice about going down the bankruptcy route - she even said sometimes the judge doesn't actually see you just approves BR from the paperwork - I should be so lucky!!
I am really nervous though and must have looked at my form a hundred times.
I have had fantastic help from the experts - especially Brett England. This forum has been a real lifeline in my moments of panic and there have been a few!!
I'll update on Friday
