I am self employed.
If I have a joint mortgage wih my wife and we both live in the house with our 2 children, aged 2 and 5 can the government still force sale of the house, leaving us without any place to live with the children if I am made bankrupt.

Hi Ukr,

If you are under the threat of Bankruptcy and have equity in your property may I suggest you contact one of the experts to discuss your options.

They will be able to advice you with regard to the process of property dealings in Bankruptcy.

Hi ukr and welcome to the forum

I am afraid that this is very likely if you have equity which could be made available to your creditors, but all circumstances will be taken into account by the Judge.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com

Hi ukr

I don't have any answers for you but I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. I'm sure an expert will be along soon.
