I am self employed. If I have a joint mortgage wih my wife and we both live in the house with our 2 children, aged 2 and 5 can the government still force sale of the house, leaving us without any place to live with the children if I am made bankrupt.
I am afraid that this is very likely if you have equity which could be made available to your creditors, but all circumstances will be taken into account by the Judge.
