As Vicki has said could you post some further information?
Who is the creditor? what offers have been made? has you husband any other unsecured debts? Do you own a property if so what is the value of the property and the amounts on mortgage or secured against the property?
If you have assets such as property with equity, you really need to avoid the Bankruptcy as this could become a very expensive and unpleasant experience for you.
