I was made bankrupt in march then in february I was repossed as I failed to make the payment of half the arears by a certain date as I was rushed into hospital. The mortgage company was aware of that but still proceeded. I have appealed on the grounds of oppresion which the judge told me to file a witness statement, which I did, it goes back to court on the 8thjuly. I am in the house and the judge allowed.
so It may get overturned. As the mortgage posession came first what does that mean to the bankruptcy as technically at the moment I am no longer a home owner.

Hi glos and welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear about your current troubles.

The effect of the possession order has little effect on your bankruptcy, unless there is equity in the property. Is this the case?

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
