Posted - 10 July 2008 : 10:47:45 In this section it is asking date debt incurred what should I put for credit/store cards I can't remember the dates I got them all and it was on-going debt from use.
Also do I need to add that I have not used them since 2004 as I was in a DMP.
Thanks for your advice. |

Give it your best guess, and the OR will confirm with your lenders anyway!

Hi Sueann,
If the debt is less than 12 months old, you need to be as accurate as possible with the dates. For debts over 12 months old, the month or even just the year should suffice.

Gosh I don't even know the year, if I put in excess of... will that be OK for now? I really don't want to ring my creditors before BR as I am getting so much hassle from them. |

Just state the rough year you took out the cards. The fact that you haven't used them since 2004 will come up in your interview.
