Posted - 13 August 2008 : 16:25:19 I know this may be a silly question but I was made BR last April and everything has been going well, maybe too well! Prior to BR I opened a Nationwide Basic Account The OR unfroze it 2 days after my BR and I have been using it ever since paying in salary etc and using the cash card. I have just heard that they no longer accept undischarged bankrupts. Doeas this mean I am likely to be receiving a letter closing my account? or is this only for new applications The account is fine in all respects at the moment.

Posted - 13 August 2008 : 16:51:29 I have a Nationwide account that I opened last may when they were still accepting undischarged bankrupts and I've had no problems with it. I phoned and asked them (anonymously!) if they would close accounts when they changed their policy and they said if the account is being run correctly they had no plans to.
