Posted - 29 August 2008 : 17:02:14 Well I am definaltey going to go BR and now me and Hubby have discussed both of us doing it so we can clear his small amount but also the negative equity too. I hate where we live and I can't see the negative equity getting cleared within 10 years let alone sooner. So I want to have a complete fresh start and move to a nicer area in rented. I have checked houses and there are quite a few which is cheaper than our mortgage or the same, we just need to wait back on if hubbys job will be affected as he is a PCSO, but fingers crossed as views have changed recently and he is already serving then I pray all will be ok me and my family depserately need a fresh start debt free.

this is the link to the debt wizard site - it might be helpful speaking to him about the police side so you can get some peace of mind on the subject.
I think he is the recommended debt advisor for most of the forces in conjunction with their welfare departments.
