I have debt of £52000 on credit cards some of these credit cards I have my wife as additional card holder is this classified as joint account.?

Posted - 30 January 2010 : 07:20:56 Leen.ow is correct, if she didn't sign the credit agreement and just has an additional card then she will not be liable for the debt if you declare BR.

Posted - 29 January 2010 : 22:07:55 I don't think so. If she is an additional card holder it will probably just be your signature on the credit agreement. Not 100% on this so maybe an expert will be along shortly to confirm!
