Posted - 21 February 2010 : 14:53:44 My question is, if all my debts are based on an address (and where I am on the Electoral Roll) in Scotland, do I have to apply for bankruptcy (or the Scottish equivalent) in Scotland or can I apply in England (where I currently reside)?

the court will ask for your centre of main interest (COMI) this is the place that you have lived had bills paid from for the last 6 months.
Trust deeds and sequestration (IVA & Bankruptcy) are the scottish equivallant. i would refer you direct to Paul at Reviva as i know he has recently helped some people over the borders.
