Posted - 04 September 2010 : 12:25:26 As gettingoutofdebt says the debts will remain on your credit file for 6 years and to have them marked as satisfied or partially satisfied you will need to write to the data controller for each company.
If they refuse to comply you can then write to the Information Commissioner who can force them.
Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.
Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Posted - 04 September 2010 : 10:45:40 Your BR debts will remain on your file for 6 years from the BR date but the creditors should have updated them to 'partially satisfied'. You can follow the instructions at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=677875 to clean up your credit file.
