i was made bankrupt in 2006 and was discharged , my question is i still have unsatisfied on my credit report, how do i get these of my credit report, many thanks, rod
Your BR debts will remain on your file for 6 years from the BR date but the creditors should have updated them to 'partially satisfied'. You can follow the instructions at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=677875 to clean up your credit file.
As gettingoutofdebt says the debts will remain on your credit file for 6 years and to have them marked as satisfied or partially satisfied you will need to write to the data controller for each company.
If they refuse to comply you can then write to the Information Commissioner who can force them.
